Summary:
The City of Ashland Conservation District offers a wide variety of incentives for their residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of their homes, or build new homes that meet efficient design standards. Appliance rebates ranging from $30 to $100 are available for energy efficient dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators and electric water heaters. The standard rebates for dishwashers and washing machines are doubled if the house they are installed in has an electric water heater. Emerald People's Utility District (EPUD) offers financial incentives for its commercial customers to increase the energy efficiency of their facilities with three separate rebate programs. Customers who are planning to replace old motors that need rewinding, are at the end of their useful life, or are oversized can take advantage of the Motor Rebate Program. Customers installing motors that are between 3 hp and 75 hp can use the standard application available at their main office to receive per-horsepower rebates based on the efficiency of the replacement motor. For motors that are over 75 hp or are installed in a high use application, customers should call (541) 744-7435 for a free customized energy analysis to help optimize the motor replacement and maximize energy savings.
