Emerald People's Utility District (EPUD) offers financial incentives for its commercial customers to increase the energy efficiency of their facilities with three separate rebate programs. Customers who are planning to replace old motors that need rewinding, are at the end of their useful life, or are oversized can take advantage of the Motor Rebate Program. Customers installing motors that are between 3 hp and 75 hp can use the standard application available at their main office to receive per-horsepower rebates based on the efficiency of the replacement motor. For motors that are over 75 hp or are installed in a high use application, customers should call (541) 744-7435 for a free customized energy analysis to help optimize the motor replacement and maximize energy savings. Once the savings potential is determined EPUD will calculate the incentive available.
