Summary:
Alliant Energy's New Home Program gives incentives to customers who build energy efficient homes. A base rebate is available to those customers that make the minimum energy efficiency levels, based on the size of the house. Additional rebates are available for energy efficient appliances and additional heating and cooling measures. Iowa - Cedar Falls Utilities - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary:
The CFU Energy Efficiency Rebate Program provides rebates for energy efficient air conditioning equipment, refrigerators and furnaces which exceed the 1993 federal energy efficiency standards. A separate rebate is also offered for Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) or geothermal heating units. To qualify for the A/C rebate and the furnace rebate, proper sizing of the unit must be done by CFU Energy Services staff. All receipts must be mailed to CFU along with a completed application. Iowa - Indianola Municipal Utilities - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary:
Indianola Municipal Utilities offers an incentive for its commercial customers to increase the efficiency of their facilities. Rebates are available on a per square foot basis for insulation and energy efficient windows, and a per unit basis for central air conditioning. Wall insulation must be inspected by IMU prior to being covered. Failure to arrange for this inspection prior to covering the walls will result in disqualification. Iowa - Indianola Municipal Utilities - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary:
Indianola Municipal Utilities offers a variety of incentives for their residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of their homes. IMU provides rebates for energy efficient clothes washers, refrigerators, central air conditioners, geothermal heat pumps, insulation and windows. Rebates for attic insulation are based on the attic square footage. Low-e glass windows and doors will be based on the square footage of the glass area only. Basement wall insulation must be verified by IMU before covered and square footage will be determined by the walls minus any doors and windows. Iowa - MidAmerican Energy - Commercial New Construction Energy Efficiency Program


Applicable Sectors: Commercial and Industrial

Summary:
MidAmerican Energy's Commercial New Construction Program offers businesses within their distribution region incentives for energy efficient construction and design of new or preexisting buildings. Construction Incentives are paid to the building owner based upon the kWh savings modeled and verified as installed by an independent modeler contracted by MidAmerican Energy. A minimum energy savings of 15 percent beyond that required by the state of Iowa code is required to qualify. Incentives range from $.05 to $.14 per kWh. Rebate incentives also are available for natural gas savings. Design Incentives are paid to design teams who use the services of an independent building energy performance modeler contracted by MidAmerican Energy. The independent modeler will analyze potential energy savings and produce a final energy verification report. Design incentives are determined based on the square footage and type of building. Summary:
MidAmerican Energy's Custom Systems Program offers businesses within its distribution region rebates or financing on the purchase and installation of building systems equipment in existing buildings. These incentives are for large space heating and cooling systems and control systems and other measures not addressed in other EnergyAdvantage programs. Rebate level for custom energy efficiency projects will be customized based upon the equipment's incremental cost, peak demand reduction, annual energy use reduction and annual energy cost savings. To participate in this program submit a proposal to MidAmerican for pre-approval, indicating either financing or rebate. MidAmerican Energy's New Homes Program provides builders with a "comprehensive list of prescriptive measures" to guide the construction of energy efficient homes. The offer is applicable to single family home construction within MidAmerican's distribution region. The program provides rebates to customers to offset the costs of purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment. The rebates pay approximately 50% of the incremental cost of the upgrades up to $1750. To be eligible for the rebate, homes must fulfill the qualifications described on the 2006 specifications sheet.
