California - Alameda Power and Telecom - Weatherization Cash Grant Energy Efficiency Program


Applicable Sectors: Residential and Multi-Family Residential

Summary:
Alameda Power and Telecom offers a grant to help its residential customers weatherize their homes to increase efficiency. To participate, customers must complete and send in a Weatherization Cash Grant Application Form. Upon receipt of a completed application, Alameda Power and Telecom may or may not require a free energy audit before installation. All work must be completed by a pre-approved contractor, and the completed project must be inspected by AP&T. When the installation is approved, AP&T will pay the contractor 80% of the cost. California - Burbank Water & Power - Business Bucks Energy Efficiency Grant Program

Summary:
Working with a company called Richard Heath and Associates, Burbank Water and Power offers a grant to its small and mid-sized business customers to install energy efficient equipment. Burbank businesses with monthly electricity costs falling in the range of about $100 to $3,000 are eligible to participate in this program. To participate, call Richard Heath and Associates at the phone number provided to schedule a free site evaluation. The energy manager will conduct a comprehensive energy survey, looking at lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration, motors, water heating and the building envelope. Certain energy efficient measures and retrofits may be recommended and Burbank Water and Power will provide up to $1,000 to pay for the improvements. Learn more...

California - Riverside Public Utilities - Energy Efficiency Technology Grant Program

Summary:
Riverside Public Utilities offers their Energy Efficiency Technology Grant Program to its business customers to fund research, development, and effective use of innovative energy technologies that are unique to that particular business or industry's specific manufacturing techniques or processes. Grant amount is up to 100% of the project cost with a maximum of $100,000 per project with no matching funds or repayment requirements. All projects or uses of grant funds must comply with the California Public Utilities Code Section 385 related to use of public benefits funds. To be eligible for consideration under this program the project must target one or more specific innovative energy technologies.
