North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC), a Touchstone Energy Cooperative®, serves approximately 33,000 member accounts in seven different counties. The coop provides low interest rates for energy efficiency improvements in the home through the Energy Resource Conservation Loan. To qualify, the heat pump must have a SEER rating of at least 11.0 and an HSPF of 7.00. Heat pumps must be sized according to North Arkansas Electric design requirements determined at the time of the energy audit. Loans must be approved before work is done.
