Central Alabama Electric Cooperative, a Touchstone Electric Cooperative, offers the Touchstone Energy® Home Program. Touchstone Energy Homes qualify for Dual Fuel or Geothermal rebates and water heaters. In order to qualify homes must follow seven of the eleven guidelines of a Touchstone Home. Alabama - Muscle Shoals Electric Board - New Homes Energy Efficiency Program

Muscle Shoals Electric Board offers an incentive to its residential customers to build their new homes to an overall efficiency rating. The incentive is for $200 and is awarded to customers whose home meets all the efficiency requirements. The home must have a HERS rating of 83 or more, and a minimum SEER of 11 or 12.
